Driving without inspection but with temporary tags.?
I plan on buying a classic car, the car is past inspection but I can get temporary tags when I do the title transfer. Is driving it the two hours home legal?
Driving anything on a public road without registration plates of any kind is illegal. Luckily the fine for operating unregistered usually isn’t a killer-Nine times out of ten if you pass the cop’s attitude test if you get pulled over and explain to him/her that you’re just transporting the vehicle-they’ll sometimes just tell ya to get it home quickly before another unit sees ya.
